Nintendo ‘s newest hit console, the Switch, is continuing to get more and more new games! With an already great lineup of games like Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2 , Snipperclips, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Zelda: BOTW DLC 1 + 2 , ARMS, Fire Emblem Warriors. and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, there are hours and hours of great gameplay to be had on the Switch.
But what about some of the lesser known or upcoming games? There are a few games that I’m really looking forward to playing on Switch that I think deserve a shout-out.
First is Kirby Star Allies, which will be coming out on March 16th. This game looks like a lot of fun, with Kirby able to recruit enemies to join his team and help him fight. Another upcoming game that looks really cool is Octopath Traveler, which is set to release sometime this year. It combines pixel-art graphics with an 8-bit soundtrack to create a unique and nostalgic look and feel. And finally, there’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which is coming to Switch on November 17th. This is definitely a game that I’m looking forward to playing on the go!
Farming Games Nintendo Switch
There are also a few farming games coming to the Switch, which is great news for fans of the genre. The first one is Stardew Valley, which will be released on July 12th. This game has you starting a new life in Stardew Valley, where you can farm, fish, forage, and befriend the locals. And it looks like a lot of fun!
Another upcoming farming game for the Switch is Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns, which is set to release on February 28th. In this version, you can explore three different towns and interact with their unique residents. Plus it has 4-player multiplayer capabilities , so you can play with friends and family when it comes out!
Finally, there’s Farm Together. This game was released in Early Access on Steam back in January and is still currently in development . It has a lot of features that remind me of the PC farming game, Stardew Valley , but with a multiplayer mode that will allow you to work with friends and family to expand your farm. One thing I’m really excited about is the ability to create your own custom character! I can’t wait to play all these great farming games on my Switch when they come out!
The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild
Of course, no Nintendo console is complete without a few great Zelda games. The first one that comes to mind is of course, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This game was released alongside the Switch and has been receiving rave reviews from gamers and critics alike. If you haven’t had a chance to play it yet, I highly recommend it!
Another great Zelda game that I’m really looking forward to is the DLC 1 + 2 for Breath of the Wild. While we don’t know much about these upcoming Legend of Zelda games, we do know that they’re going to be huge and will further expand but adding new characters, gameplay mechanics, and an original storyline. Keep an eye out for them when they come out!
