Ultimate Guide for Beginners Minecraft
Greetings! Author of the Ultimate Guide to Minecraft for Beginners here. If you don’t know what this post is about, let me tell you! It’s a post that tells beginners exactly how to play and survive in Minecraft. Since I’m just starting out on my own Minecraft journey, I asked around and did as much as I could to become an expert at survival and the things you need to know. This blog is my way of saying thank you for all those people who helped me out along the way.
This guide is meant to help you become a better Minecraft player. I hope you like it!
Beginner survival house minecraft
In Minecraft, there are a lot of things you have to take into consideration. One of the most important is how to survive your first night. There’s a variety of ways you can do this, but today we’ll talk about one possible way: building a house.
- Let’s start with stuff you need for a house. When it comes to the house, you have to think of it in two ways. First is materials. You’ll need walls, floor and a roof- since we want to stay dry and safe from mobs (hostile creatures in Minecraft). Second is space: how big should your house be? It all depends on what you’re planning to do in the future; you want to build a village, or just a room?
- Inside the house, you’ll need some furniture. The first thing you should think about is your bed. You can only survive if you get plenty of sleep. When it comes to beds, there are two kinds: normal and double height. Normal ones are perfect for one player- but not for a village. Double height ones can hold two players and work perfectly for a settlement.
- Next thing you need is a crafting table. Crafting tables are where you do all your craftwork, including smelting ores to ingots… They’re pretty much the center of any settlement in Minecraft.
- The last item I’d recommend you place inside your house is a chest. If you don’t, all the stuff you collect (resources and items) will be gone. Getting more chests is useful- one for stone, one for dirt and so on… A good choice would be to place them in alcoves along with bookcases (not really needed).
Open up your inventory, go to crafting and search for crafting tables, bookcases and chests. When you have all the items needed for a house, it’s time to build!
Beginners can think of their first house as being just one room with doors on both sides. That way you don’t have to worry about mobs attacking you from behind. You’ll find that this is a good way to start, but it doesn’t really offer you much. You can always add extra rooms and/or floors when you get the materials.
Building your first house in Minecraft:
To build a house in Minecraft, you’ll need materials and tools. Here’s what we need:
-Wood blocks (64)
-Wood Planks (64)
-Torches (8)
-Ladders (4)
-Chests (6)
After that, you’ll need your hands and a shovel. Go ahead and right click on the ground to move yourself there. Do this until you have 64 blocks of wood. If you run out, go mining some more- you need a total of 128 blocks.
You’ll place 4 wood blocks vertically on the ground, then place your first chest right in the middle of them all. Keep placing 16 wooden planks vertically until you can’t see any more chests. Next comes the floor. Right click on the extra space and put down 64 wood planks.
Now you’ll need to build the walls. Place down 16 wood planks vertically, then go up one block by left clicking . Repeat until you’re two blocks off the floor level. Next, place 4 wooden planks horizontally- they should be on your right hand side (for starters). Now place 2 more wooden planks vertically.
After this, you’ll need to go up and place one more wood plank vertically. Build the roof by placing 4 planks horizontally and then going down one block. And that’s it! You’re done with your first house. This is just a basic example of what starting builders do in Minecraft- we’ve got plenty more tutorials on how to play and build in Minecraft here on the site.
Now you have somewhere to sleep, store your valuables and work on building up a community. You’ll need to start thinking about what else you’d like to include in your new settlement. Maybe some farm space?
